Travel Delay - Journey Disruption

Select this section if you incurred a delay on your trip and have journey disruption cover under your policy that covers additional expenses (as opposed to the benefit cover - see 'Travel Delay - Benefit' above).

Trip Cancellation

Select this section if you cancelled your trip. Please note that if you are claiming because you decided to abandon your trip because of a travel delay/cancellation by the transport provider, please see the Trip Abandonment section.

Medical / Curtailment

Select this section if you incurred medical expenses on your trip or had to come home early (curtailment). If you were hospitalised you may also be able to claim for hospital benefit.

When submitting the claim you will need the following documents to hand:

  3. Receipts for the expenses incurred
  4. Hospital discharge report/doctor's report confirming your diagnosis, treatment and hospitalisation admission/discharge dates
  5. Photocopy of EHIC card (EU travel only)

For claims for curtailment, you will also need:

  1. Medical confirmation of need to alter travel arrangements
  2. Refund confirmation on any unused trip costs

For claims for unused ski hire, ski school or lift passes, you will also need:

  1. Evidence of original ski costs, itemised per person and showing the dates covered.

Personal Possessions

Select this section if you had items of personal possessions (including money and ski equipment) lost, stolen or damaged and/or incurred costs to obtain an emergency passport.

  3. Reports obtained in support of the incident and where no reports provided the contact details and reference given by whoever you did report the incident to
  4. Receipts and other evidence of value and pre-loss ownership.

  6. Estimates of repair costs or confirmation any damaged items are beyond repair, provided by an official repairer.
